非暴力（Nonviolence）又稱反暴力^[1]，是指参与社会政治变革、拒绝使用暴力的理念，作为介于被动接受与武装斗争的一种形式，“非暴力”方式参与的政治变革，包括非暴力反抗、公民抗命或其他强大影响力的不合作对抗形式，与和平主义类似。20世纪中叶以来，非暴力、非暴力抵抗等非武力手段为社会变革主要形式之一^[2]^[3]^[4]，也是推崇的政治与社会哲学理念。作为社会政治变革的实践，非暴力反抗与和平主义具有本质的差别，非暴力并不是说没有身体接触和身体对抗，而是说并不使用致命性武力。非暴力属于社会与政治变革，它违背压迫者的意愿，和权力、非正义和不公正现象斗争。

作为政治理念，常常描述非暴力为“平民政治”，从全世界范围和历史眼光来看，非暴力理念常涉及广泛的群众基础。如为争取印度独立，圣雄甘地领导的不合作运动；美国人权运动领袖马丁·路德·金领导的争取非裔美国人公民权利的斗争^[5]，还有就是1986年菲律宾爆发的人民革命（EDSA Revolution,1986）。另外，世界范围内有诸多文化和政治传统推崇非暴力的哲学思想，如亚伯拉罕诸宗教、源于印度次大陆的各个宗教等，佛教和印度教都反对任何暴力，主张以忍让和和平的方式解决一切争端，最终有了甘地创造性的印度民族独立的解放方式。

每年的10月2日為國際非暴力日。2007年聯合國決議以聖雄甘地的生日定為國際非暴力日。
